Hello
Welcome to the website of the Kenai King
Lodge, located on the banks of the world famous Kenai River.
The Rivers fame comes from the best salmon genetics in the
world, resulting in world class fishing opportunities. The
Kenai is home to 8 of the 10 world record King salmon
including the 97.4 Lb. world record King, as well as the World
Record Sockeye (16 Lbs) and the World Record Dolly Varden (19
Lbs). Millions of Sockeye salmon literally pass through our
front yard at the Lodge. Sockeye or Red salmon, arguably the
best tasting of the 5 salmon species in Alaska, are pound for
pound some of hardest fighting, fish I have encountered. I
would be remiss if I didn't mention the Trophy Rainbows,
Silver Salmon, Pinks, and Dolly Varden, all of which inhabit
the Kenai.
Kenai Peninsula
The Kenai Peninsula is truly an
outdoorsmans paradise. Our lodge on the Kenai is located only
a few hours scenic drive from Anchorage. Our location is on
the scenic quiet side of the river away from the cities and
hustle and bustle of the lower river. Wildlife is abundant,
keep your eyes open on the drive down for some of the more
famous peninsula residents including; Dall Sheep, Mountain
Goats, Moose, Bear, and Bald Eagles to name a few. Our lodge
is adjacent to the 2.5 million acre Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, affording
many opportunities for exploration. Come join us and
experience the beauty and splendor of Americas last frontier,
ALASKA!
Sincerely Your Hosts,
Jeff & Beth and Kevin &
Liz Fuze
UPDATE: WOW!! What a season. We had
a run of a 1,400,000 Sockeye (Red) Salmon in River this
year and still counting. Our biggest problem was running out
of freezer space.

We had some
great guests this year but I wanted to share part of
a gracious E-mail sent from Alan and his family
from Dallas, TX. Alan celebrated his 50th Wedding Anniversary in Alaska
at the Kenai King Lodge with his family.
"FANTASTIC!
A one word wrap up of
our week spent at the Kenai King Lodge. Each and every
member of the family said to tell you they appreciate the week
spent there and look forward to returning. When
we finally
took Elizabeth's (our daughter) instruction to heart and started
landing the Reds it was fantastic. We brought home about 250
pounds and left some in the freezer that were not quite frozen
solid.
Your recommendations on
the outfitters was right on....The full day in Seward was
great and the guides, Bryan and Eric, were not only great
guides but excellent with the grandkids, Priceless!
You have lined up a group of
great outfitters, who truely seem to care about their clients
and grouped with your great facility it is no wonder we all
want to return in the future. In short, it was
very Enjoyable"
